Grass protection and reinforcement materials are used for areas where a grassed finish is required, but high wear or load carrying is expected. The various grades of material are used for parking, driveways, gateways, reinforcement under other surfaces (ie menages), aircraft taxiways, caravan parks, pathways etc.

The heavy duty mesh is particularly good for equestrian use in gateways, walkways, paddocks and menage underlays. This grade is the only material we recommend for use with Horses and must be installed according to fixing instructions, maintenance being key after installation to ensure the material does not lift. Fitted properly and looked after, this material will give years of use in most equestrian applications.

As with all groundwork, attention to appropriate drainage and compaction (aggregate etc) is needed.

Ground stabilisation material is used under ground level to reduce movement of aggregates used for
pathways, roadways etc and is particularly good to reduce erosion and land-slip on slopes.

Paving systems which require a degree of excavation and preparation, are suitable for high wear pathways such a golf walkways and caddy driveways - but can be far superior to other products when laid correctlty in gateways for instance.

Our GrassSupport hollow rubber mats are also used for their non-slip and grass reinforcement properties and are particularly good for smaller areas and foot-traffic.
