A cellular paving system produced from 100% recycled polyethylene and supplied in 50cm square tiles.

The tiles are approved to BSEN124:1994

The tiles are packed on standard pallets of 30 sqmt (120 tiles) per pallet weighing just 215kg gross - or we can pack in extra high pallets to reduce transport costs at up to 50 sqmt (200 tiles) per pallet (345kg gross)

 

When used on Horse Exercisers, these tiles are the suggested option if you are training at a trot or faster - OR your horses have protruding road nails or studs that will wear solid rubber rubber systems very fast. Instead of a concrete floor, install drains and lay in type 3 aggregate to offer the best drainage medium - this should be levelled and compressed, with a reinforcement mesh depending on your sub-soild type. A ground fabric is normally laid on top of the base before the installation of the Geogrid tiles - once in place, these can then be infilled with your choice of surface medium - standard menage sands or rubber chippings etc. The grid system is filled with medium, and topped with just 30 - 40mm thickness over the top. As the grids retain the medium raking is normally very minimal and while you may get slight compression around the line the horses walk on, there should be no heavy track formed - and no water standing, as the porous sub-base will ensure all water drains away quickly. 

 

Where required we are able to offer these tiles cut to sizes - for instance in the case of horse-exercisers, a radius can be cut so that the tiles form a perfect circle.
