FIRE RETARDANT GrassSupport™ or GrassPlayMats™ offer a non-slip surface on permeable/non-permeable surfaces, while helping to protect the ground surface reducing mud and ruts. On grass play areas, the mats offer a safe fall height to BS EN 1177 of 2.7m/3m while also meeting EN ISO 11925-2 and EN ISO 9279-1 standards for fire retardancy.
These mats are similar to our standard GrassSupport mats but produced in a different polymer with fire retardant properties.
Tested to EN ISO 11925-2 and EN ISO 9279-1 the mats comply with standard horizontal and vertical burn tests required when building regulations are to be met.
The BS EN 1177 critical fall height testing will vary according to the underlying surface. The mats typically meet a fall height of 2.7m to 3m and we can offer independant testing for your surface along with full certification and inspection results where neccessary (please call for a quotation).
The mats are 1m x 1.5m x 22mm thick  and are made to order, so minimum production quantities (typically 100 mats) may be required unless other orders are in hand. Please call for delivery lead time and quantity requirements.
