The Croctop pattern mat is a special Horsemat Ltd own design that came about from market research and customer comment on alternative patterns. The mat superceded our original studded floor mats and incorporates a unique square foot system on the underside offering bi-directional drainage while also providing a very stable footing with liitle or no movement underfoot. The large air-gap incorporated into the design allows free-flowing fluid drainage while also offering air circulation under the mat and a high degree of air-cushioning, also giving the mat a softer feel underfoot.

Following requests from customers for an easy-clean top surface, the crocodile-skin pattern was used to give optimum grip and easy sweep characteristics.

The mat is easy to cut using a sharp Stanley knife and can be connected edge to edge with special connectors (sold seperately) - especially good in open sided stables where mats cannot be retained by walls.

The mats are particularly good in stables with a drainage fall and the mats themselves can be quickly flushed underneath using a hose or power-washer - disinfectant added at wash-down ensures the cleanest smelling stable possible !
