Ground Fixings

Multiple different ground fixings are available for our grass management products. Normally for our grass mesh materials steel U Pins are the preferred option.

For 22mm Hollow mats, we offer barbed plastic pins for safety, often these mats are simply cable-tied together and infilled with top soil or sand – allowing the grass to grow and hold the mats down naturally.

Plastic pins can be used for plastic mesh products also. They are very good for use with livestock.

150mm Plastic Pins

These are most popular for use with the 22mm Hollow mats. Using 5 pins per mat and cable-tieing the mats to each other gives the strongest fixing.

190mm Plastic Pins

These are used for 22mm Hollow mats and also can be used for grass protection mesh products.
