2mt Long Anti-Cast Strips – Plain Version

As a lower cost option to our Deluxe version Anti-Cast Strips, we also offer these heavy duty, solid rubber strips – pre-drilled or plain.

These Anti-Cast strips are simply 2mt long strips, 54mm wide. Each weighs approx 14kgs and can be predrilled with counterbored holes, or supplied plain for you to drill as you fit.

To fix to your walls, you will need the correct fixings for your type of wall. For wooden lined stud-work walls, you will need to determine the stud centres and mark these on the rubber. Then drill 25mm diameter counter-bore holes 10 to 12mm deep (a wood bit works fine). A heavy duty screw (8mm or 10mm dia) of the  correct length – 40mm through rubber, plus any wall protection (normally 10mm) and then at least 50mm into the studwork – so in total 100mm long screws. These should be fitted with a 24mm x 10mm steel washer to stop the screw pulling through the rubber.

Similarly. if you have brick or concrete walls, the equivalent masonry fittings should be used (ie Rawlbolts) – again with a capture washer under the head in the counterbored holes.

Made from solid synthetic (SBR) rubber, they are durable and safe. Hard materials such as wood or plastic can cause injuries, especially if the Horse becomes distressed.

Each Anti-Cast strip is 2mt in length and stands 40mm off the wall.

Depending on stock levels delivery lead time on this product is 7-10 days.  A standard 12ft x 12ft stable with a 4ft door would need 7 strips to do all 4 walls.
