Our Background
Situated just outside Sudbury in Suffolk. Horsemat stock huge amounts of horse matting material manufactured to ISO9001:2008 approved standards. Including all types of solid rubber, crumb rubber, and EVA foam materials. Originally part of East Anglian Sealing Co Ltd, Horsemat Limited was founded in 2006 as its own entity. Kim and Steve Cant had started the original company as a consultancy business. This soon grew, and the Directors both returned to manufacturing. They now operate from 8 out of 13 units on the Goldingham Estate. The two companies today proudly supply quality goods across the UK and Overseas for all sorts of industries.
Horsemat regularly introduces new products and designs to the range. This web site includes these products as they become available from stock.
However they are also renowned for their Design capabilities and are happy to look at bespoke products! So – if you have an idea for a rubber or plastic item, why not ask for their input ! Both 2D and 3D Cad systems are used alongside the most modern scanning equipment. 3D printed modelling is also available for those who want to visualise their dreams!

At Horsemat we are also able to undertake and recommend contractors for all types of hard-works. Including concreting, wet-pour, and spray-on flexible surfaces and equine landscaping. Along with the fitting of stable mats, wall linings, trailers mats, pathway, and parking installations. Because we are also a supplier to many trade outlets and resellers across the country, we work with many other companies within the equestrian industries. So we can often refer stable builders, installers, walker manufacturers, etc in your area.
