A variety of different fixings are available for our mesh and matting materials. Normally grass protection and reinforcement mesh materials are pinned down using steel pins - U Pins are the preferred type, however we do also supply longer J pins.

For rubber mats, we supply barbed plastic pegs for safety and play areas while harder wearing areas such as walkways, can be pinned with either plastic or metal pins. In many cases, these mats are simply cable-tied together and bedded down by covering with top soil or sharp sand - allowing the grass to take root and hold the mats down naturally.

Plastic pins are now successfully used for plastic mesh products also, these are especially good when used with livestock and our new Hi-Visage yellow pins can be used to mark areas such as parking bays.

For inside stables etc, we supply adhesives to bond edge to edge, mat to floor or mat to wall, along with mechanical fixings for walls that are highly porous where adhesives do not bond tightly.
